Lego Birthday Party

This was such a fun and colorful birthday theme and I love that my son was able to make so many of the decorations himself! He started building all of his legos a month before his birthday party and this was the result:

We used legos as decor on all the tables
A close up of his creations
I made these ‘legos’ out of shoe boxes and wrapping paper. See my how-to blog on making these DIY Large Lego Bricks
I made lego heads to use as stands. See my DIY Lego Heads how-to blog for details
I glued blue legos from Dollar Tree onto signs I made for all the tables
We used these yellow placemats for the lunch tables and colorful balloons as centerpieces
The appetizer table with our lego creations and signs
Pasta salad as ‘lego bits’
Veggie sticks and pretzels as ‘long bricks’
Fruit sticks were ‘mini figures’
I added mini cups of jelly beans on top of the lego heads
The jelly beans were a colorful addition

For the dessert table, I made a mini lego banner for one cake and bought a yellow number 6 candle for the other. We made chocolates and rice crispy treats with m&m’s on top to look like mini edible lego bricks

For party favors, we got lego glasses from Amazon and mini lego storage cases from Dollar Tree
The kids loved their lego glasses! The glasses came with a pack of lego pieces they could use to decorate their glasses with
The perfect party for the most perfect kid!
