I felt the need to go a little over the top for Halloween and turned our two seater wagon into a Spooky Mobile that matched my kids’ costumes. We got loads of compliments while trick or treating and my kids loved riding in it. Here’s a link of a covered two seater wagon similar to ours. This project was surprisingly simple and fun to put together. Here’s how this spooky creation came to be..

I started by taping the sides of the wagon with black poster board from Dollar Tree.
Next, I removed the cover of the wagon and used a black twin sheet set (1 fitted sheet and 1 flat sheet) which made this project a breeze. I used the fitted sheet for the bottom of the wagon to cover the seats, super quick and easy.
Then, I reattached the cover of the wagon and draped the flat sheet over the cover, gathered the corners to look like drapes, and tied all four corners with purple ribbon. I used hot glue to raise the sheets on either side of the wagon, so the kids could get in and out easily and see through the side “windows”.

Next, I hung pumpkin lights around the outside of the wagon and hot glued purple lights along the inside seats and sides.
Bonus: Put a bluetooth speaker in the wagon and play Halloween Disney songs (or any songs to match your theme) to set the spooky mood!

Lastly, I made a purple and orange Mickey/Minnie Mouse banner out of cardstock and yarn to match my kids’ costumes (pictures below). A simple banner can change the theme of this spooky mobile, which makes it great for reusing for future Halloweens.
