My kids are still talking about my daughter’s jungle birthday party and how much fun they had that day. We celebrated her sixth birthday at Scooter’s Jungle and they had such a blast! You can’t go wrong with a huge slide, zip lining, a bouncy house, ping pong, air hockey, and more. I usually plan games and activities for our parties, but there was no need to for this one. Scooter’s Jungle has so many things to do that all I had to focus on was the decor. We booked the ‘Junior Arena and Dining’ room. It is a private space with its own play and dining area as well as a private bathroom. There was plenty of space for kids and grownups.

The Junior Arena and Dining room
Decor

I used huge jungle leaves as placemats and placed pink balloons at the center of each dining table

For centerpieces, I put these jungle animals and leaves on sticks and placed them in acrylic vases I wrapped with light pink streamer.

I kept the sticks in place with styrofoam blocks I cut down to size from Dollar Tree

Planning the look of one of the jungle tables a few days before the party

I found the large plant behind the welcome sign at a local craft store and placed it in a wide acrylic vase. These cute jungle ears and hats were for guests to wear and keep. I also used these hats for my son’s dinosaur birthday party

I made this sign for the party favor bags which were filled with jungle animals and other goodies Scooter’s Jungle provided
Food

Figuring out the look for the appetizer table..

Two signs I made for the pizza/salad table

Veggie straws as vines

Animal crackers were wild animals and circus animal cookies were party animals

Love this Do Not Feed the Animals sign

Strawberries and green grapes on skewers were tiger tails

Carrots and celery sticks in a cup with ranch were giraffe food

I made ‘pineapples’ using Ferrero Rocher chocolates with little pieces of fake grass hot glued on top
Dessert

I made a little cake banner out of leaves for the first cake and got this really cool number 6 candle for the second cake

Little delicious chocolates my mom made were tree trunks

Rice Krispy treats cut into the shape of leaves and chocolate sticks were bamboo

Wild animals in action
