Pirate Party Games and Activities

Are you in search of some fun pirate games and activities? Well, look no further! Guests at my son’s Jake and the Neverland Pirates fourth birthday party enjoyed an adventurous treasure hunt, a pirate trivia game for kids and adults, as well as a piñata filled with pirate goodies. Read below for details on our daring pirate party games!

Treasure Hunt

Our treasure hunt started at Kyrie’s Pirate Cove booth. Guests read this sign that prompted them to say “Yo ho, let’s go!” to start their hunt with Cap’n Kyrie. Guests went on the hunt one pair at a time and were each given a sword that had their first clue attached to it

I hid each clue in a different room in the house:
-Clue 1 led guests to Tiki Forest (our food table with the large palm tree) and the clue was hidden under Skully, the parrot.
-Clue 2 led guests to the large Bucky ship in the front room. I had a large netted bag filled with plastic coconuts. Clue number 2 was hidden inside one of the coconuts.
-Clue 3 led guests to a Skull Island toy in the guest bathroom that had tealight candles on it. Clue number 3 was behind one of the compartments of the toy.
-Clue 4 led guests to a stuffed crocodile in my son’s room. The treasure (a bag of chocolate coins) was under Tick-Tock Croc. Each guest who completed the treasure hunt got to take one chocolate from the bag.

Pirate Trivia (for kids and adults)

I filled one drawer of this treasure chest with trivia questions from the show “Jake and the Neverland Pirates” for the kids and the other drawer with general pirate trivia questions for the adults

Treasure Chest Piñata

I found a really neat treasure chest piñata from Oriental Trading. I glued a picture of Jake, my son’s favorite character from the show, on the back of the treasure chest for a customized look. I filled the piñata with a deluxe treasure chest assortment I also found on Oriental Trading. A super fun activity everyone loves

Hope you enjoyed our pirate party games!! Sooo long Mateys!
